Many consider Nanaimo a great provisioning stop on their way North or South along the inside passage. Some changes may be in the air (for good or bad?) as the Nanaimo Port Authority works on signing a deal with Pacific Northwest Marina Group which would mean the private company would have a 30-year management agreement.
